Why buy motor insurance
Motor insurance protects vehicle owners against the following (1) damage to its vehicle, and (2) the liability of third party against the owner of the vehicle, as determined by law. Third party insurance is a legal requirement. The owner of the vehicle is legally responsible for the consequences of the vehicle being used at public place or for any injury or damage to the life or property of a third party. Motor vehicle driving at the public site without insurance is a punishable offense according to the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988.
